About me
Hello, my name is Sallie Lyndsy Jose, and I am an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
To give a brief introduction about myself: I began my journey in the medical field by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas—one of the most prestigious and respected universities in my home country. My strong academic foundation and dedication to mental health led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing at Walden University, where I graduated with honors.
My passion for psychiatry has guided my career for nearly a decade. I have extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing me to work with a diverse range of patients and conditions. While I treat various psychiatric disorders, my primary areas of specialization include major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and sleep disorders. I also have experience treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),Psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, brief psychotic disorder and postpartum depression.
One of my greatest strengths lies in the integration of clinical expertise and hands-on experience, allowing me to support patients not only in achieving symptom relief but also in regaining meaningful, functional lives. My treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based psychiatric practices, backed by current research and clinical studies.
I firmly believe in a collaborative model of care—one where I actively listen to my patients, acknowledging that they know their bodies best, and involve them in every step of the decision-making process. During the comprehensive intake process, I gather detailed psychiatric history to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Your care is a partnership—together, we build a treatment plan that truly fits you.
Empathy is at the core of my practice. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with my patients—treating them with the same respect, compassion, and dignity I would want for myself. My goal is to ensure that each person feels truly heard and valued, not just as a patient, but as a whole individual. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where healing can begin, and where every patient feels like a part of a caring community.
Because your mental health matters, I offer secure and convenient telehealth appointments wherever you are so if you are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable provider? I'm here to help—call me today at 5519983674
