I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Provider with over 12 years of experience in treating serious mental illness, child and adolescent mental health needs, substance abuse issues, and trauma among other mental health concerns.

I am the co-owner of Mindful Innovations, based in Virginia, where we provide telehealth services across the state. I love to work with a broad range of clients who may be at different points in their mental health journey. I specialize in working with individuals impacted by major life events or traumatic experiences. I also enjoy working with clients struggling with addictions issues. Through EMDR and CBT techniques, we can improve the individual's core beliefs and cognition, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and improve general control and functioning in their lives. These issues may manifest in anxiety, depression, or other disruptive ways. Regardless of your needs, I am ready to join you on your path toward mental health.

I am certified in EMDR and utilize this as a foundational structure for therapeutic work. By understanding the way one may view themselves and exploring the origins of these beliefs, we can change maladaptive thought processes and improve emotion regulation strategies to better your future. I also specialize in addictions issues and management of relapse.

I have developed treatment programs utilized in acute/residential treatment centers, led initiatives to increase mental health access across rural southern Virginia, and worked as a contracted therapist in outpatient care.
