About me

I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals and family in crisis. In addition, I have worked with adoptees and adoptive families and have siblings adopted internationally. I am trained in adoption competent and trauma-informed therapy. I am currently licensed in FL and VT. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma therapies like TF-CBT, EMDR, and The Safe and Sound Protocol in treatment. With children I support non-directive play therapy. Sessions are led by you, moving at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable, and I strive to personalize my therapeutic approach to each individual client's needs.

Feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges? Navigating adoption, parenting, healing from trauma, or struggling with big life changes? I would love to help you find the clarity, strength, and growth you deserve. Let’s tackle it together! I’ve spent years helping adoptive families, children with trauma or mood challenges, and parents. I’m also passionate about supporting adults through big life changes—whether it’s career shifts or tough relationships. I’m a down-to-earth therapist who likes to bring humor into sessions—because let’s face it, being human can be overwhelming sometimes!

In my experience, many of our current struggles are rooted in the past. Untangling what we carry can feel daunting, especially when trying to make space for what we want. Our minds can be more complex than any mystery—and that’s where I come in! I’ve had great success using CBT, EFT, and trauma therapies to help untie those knots.

I know reaching out for help can feel paralyzing, but you’ve already taken the first step! My goal is to create a safe, supportive, friendly space where you feel empowered and cared for. You’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to guide you toward your goals, help you manage stress, and feel more confident on your journey.
