About me
Life's challenges can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain. I can offer a compassionate space to explore your emotional well-being while drawing on your faith, values, and personal beliefs as sources of strength and healing. Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, life transitions, or questions about purpose, you'll receive supportive, confidential care that honors your whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Together, we can work toward renewed hope, greater peace, and a deeper sense of purpose.
I am Ruth Morgan-Spann, LAC, and I earned my degree of Counseling from Ashland University Theological Seminary in 2015. I also attended Ottawa University for additional training in Crisis and Trauma in 2017. I have also earned a Doctor of Ministry, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Specialized Education.
My style is client-centered, faith based incorporating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I believe every real-life challenge has a positive answer. You have the power and strength to choose what you want to change to become your best self. That takes work, commitment, and self-expectations. Sometimes you need an objective person to walk alongside you until you can stand on your own. It's my goal to be that person to bring you to a safe, wholesome place. You get out of it what you put into it. I am here to help.
