About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate practicing in Rock Hill, SC. I see children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
It is an honor to sit with others in their stories, and I seek to create an open and safe place for clients to process the challenges in their lives. My basic approach to counseling is client-centered, and I use techniques from play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and cognitive based theories. I have especially enjoyed working with children, new mothers, older women, couples and families. Grief, transitions, spiritual growth, and church hurt are also areas of special interest. I also have experience with adolescents, anxiety, depression, and boundary identification.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. My bachelor's degree is in Family Studies (Human Development) from Messiah University. While my training is rooted in a Christian worldview, I am open to working with clients from any worldview and will not impose my own beliefs on our sessions. If faith is an important part of your life and experience, I am happy to incorporate that into your therapy.
