The most important factor in a successful counseling outcome is the presence of an open, trusting, and empathic relationship between the individual and the therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Georgia with more than 30 years of experience providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in private practice, consultation with human service organizations, as well as treatment settings including the Veterans Health Administration, addiction treatment programs, and medical care settings. I employ individualized approaches with an emphasis on building healthy self-care, coping, and relationship skills for improved emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. My experience includes helping individuals dealing with anxiety and depression, relationship conflict, aging and health-related issues, and the concerns of military Veterans and their families.
