About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 10+ years in the field. I love what I do and am passionate about helping clients access their inner resources for healing and growth. Ask me anything!
Welcome, brave soul. It can often be challenging to know when to ask for help. As a human being myself, I can empathize with the mental and emotional toll that can come from transitioning from one phase of life to the next as well as the apprehension of confronting such uncomfortable and, at times, painful experiences with someone new. I'm here to reassure you that you're taking a giant step in the direction toward wellness and growth by allowing me to be part of that journey. In my experience working with clients who are trying to heal from attachment wounds, abandonment or rejection, grief/loss, significant life or health transition, intergenerational or race-based trauma, or inaccessibility trauma, the most powerful and life-changing work that we have done together has involved deep compassion, authenticity, collaboration, and a safe holding space.
Because we are multidimensional beings, I strongly believe in honoring the unique and varied experience of each individual that I meet and I do this by working from a humanistic and client-centered lens. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Schema Therapy, and while these approaches have helped with a starting point in the work that I do with my clients, each individual that I meet is an expert of their own life with invaluable internal resources, information, and strengths. We will work together to tap into and access those resources and utilize them to fit your needs and prevent burnout.
My goal in our collaborative work together is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment in which you will feel heard, accepted, and supported. We will work together to navigate toward a healthy and authentic way of being, unravel barriers for emotional healing and personal fulfillment, and take active steps toward overall well-being and resilience.
You have the right to invest in your path toward wellness and peace. Thank you for your courage and I look forward to our work together.
