Roxana Lambdin, Ph.D.
Psychologist
Online & In-Person
About me
Since the beginning of her 30 year career, Dr. Lambdin has strived to provide life changing psychological care using recent research findings to inform her treatment of those in her care.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with Doctorate level education and training. Additionally, thirty-plus years of experience coupled
with this training gained in diverse settings has allowed me to bring to the therapeutic relationship warmth, acceptance,
compassion, and a wide array of tools that bring deep, authentic change within the context of faith, for those that desire to integrate faith . I became a therapist out of a deep desire to help alleviate suffering in the world and as humans, we all suffer in different ways.
Some of us carry heavy burdens. Thankfully, our response to suffering makes all the difference. We may not have been in control of what happened, but we can choose how to respond. Emotional wounds do not have to weigh down our future. Therapy, like most valuable things in life, is not easy, but it offers a deeper, authentic relationship with ourselves and others, making life more peaceful. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, marital conflict, trauma (including PTSD), and addictions (including
behavioral). Primarily, I use DBT and CBT, among others.
I offer services in 43 states as a PsyPact provider, which is an interjurisdictional compact between states, with separate professional licenses in Texas and California. My office is located in South Central Texas in the beautiful Hill Country. Otherwise, I work with clients online.
