About me
Trauma-informed, BIPOC and LGBTQ-affirming therapist in Massachusetts
You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. I know how daunting it can be to share your story with someone new. My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced in a way that feels supportive and sustainable to you. Seeking support is still a brave step, and I would be happy to set up a free 15-minute consultation before you take the leap.
I am a trauma-informed therapist specializing in helping clients navigate and heal from PTSD/complex trauma, including survivors of sexual assault, relational abuse, and domestic violence. Being BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming, I understand how cultural and relational nuances affect emotional well-being, and the importance of culturally-responsive care. I actively honor unique lived experiences, tailoring sessions to individual needs and goals as we work together to safely process difficult life transitions, develop practical coping strategies, and foster self-compassion, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
As a Harvard-trained researcher, my therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based care, integrating tools like CBT, DBT, IFS, and somatic approaches to help you create lasting, meaningful change. Outside work, you can find me on a hiking trail, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing with my dog (who can sometimes make an appearance during sessions)!
