About me
I am dedicated to helping individual who struggle with anxiety and stress disorders.
As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I really love being able to spend time getting to know others and learning about their unique experiences. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and I am Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. My approach to therapy is relationally based, meaning we work collaboratively to understand how to meet your specific needs. As a Christ follower, I aim to help minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of believers and individuals in the community.
My professional experience includes working with high-acuity patients receiving mental health care at inpatient treatment centers, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. I have discovered a joy in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and stress disorders like trauma. In addition to my degree, I hold a certification as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, I am Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Throughout the past years, I have refined my skills to work with social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and traumatic stress.
Christian Based and Clinically Structure. My style of therapy is relationally based and includes integrative trauma approaches including cognitive processing therapy, behavior activation, mindfulness training, as well as emotion regulation and interpersonal skills. When part of the focus, I love to incorporate biblical principles and practices to deepen your Christian faith.

To be known by another is to be truly seen and accepted as you are without a requirement to be anything different. I see you because I also see myself.
