About me
Empowering individuals and families to heal, grow, and thrive through life's challenges- With a specialized focus on Women and First Responders.
I am a licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist. I received a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Palo Alto University. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate life's challenges. I’m dedicated to creating a trusting space where individuals feel heard and supported as they work through anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD), attachment issues, and relationship difficulties.
My specialized focus is supporting first responders, veterans, and promoting women's mental health. I understand the unique challenges faced by individuals in high-stress professions and provide tailored care to help clients build resilience, navigate trauma, and foster emotional well-being. I also work with women across all stages of life, addressing domestic violence, personal growth, relationships, and perimenopause and menopause.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in person centered therapy, creating a supportive and collaborative environment that honors each client’s lived experience. I integrate attachment theory to help clients understand the impact of early relationships on current patterns, and I incorporate mindfulness practices to enhance emotional regulation and present-moment awareness. I also utilize bibliotherapy, encouraging the use of literature as a tool for reflection, insight, and healing.
I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy honoring each person's unique needs, history, and goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to heal and make meaningful changes in order to build fulfilling, balanced lives.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I am an avid reader and I believe in the power of books to bring people together and spark fresh perspectives.
