About me
With extensive experience in addiction, specializing in mood and personality disorders, early trauma, and various mental health issues, I aim to provide children and adults a platform to be heard, utilizing my background in the arts and a whole-body approach to address issues like depression, trauma, and anxiety.
You have decided to go to therapy after building up the strength and courage needed to ask for help, but you are left with a big choice and the selection is vast. Originally, I pursued a life in the arts but now my pursuits are directed at offering a safe space for someone and a chance to be heard. With over 10 years of experience working at inpatient addiction treatment centers, I’ve seen the effects of unexplored trauma. In addition to early trauma, I treat children, adolescents, and adults for everything from problems with attachment to depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD - including personality, developmental & eating disorders.
Through the use of a multitude of evidenced-based practices we will work to reach your treatment goals. My experience has taught me there is not a single technique that fits everyone. For me, it is important to first understand what it is that you need, and then use my training to develop a treatment plan that is geared specifically for those needs.
It is not my job to tell you what to do or which road to take, I am here to listen and work with you so that you may make the most healthy choices for yourself. To help guide you through anything from minor decisions to life-changing choices. Wherever you are, I am here to help - you just have to reach out and take the first step.
