About me
I believe that therapy is often the most effective way to address problems or issues in your life.
I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor, and I believe we are all human beings of equal value. We all deserve someone who will listen to us, understand us on a deep level, and accept us without judgement.
I offer a non-directive and non-judgemental atmosphere in my sessions. I also understand how important it is to maintain confidentiality throughout our work together.
I have experience in short-term, medium-term, and open-ended therapy. We can discuss which approach feels best for you during our first meeting.
Areas of counselling I deal with:
Alcoholism
Drug addiction
Anger management
Anxiety
Discrimination
Domestic Violence
Loneliness
Low self- esteem
Stress
Work - related stress
Low self - confidence
LGBTQ + related issues
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I always adhere to their ethical guidelines.
I have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
