As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 15 years of professional experience, I've had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and have specialized training in substance use treatment as a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (QSAP I). My experience also includes extensive case management and helping patients navigate life-changing medical events, including serious hospitalizations and chronic illnesses such as kidney disease and dialysis.

My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Gestalt therapy, a humanistic, experiential approach that emphasizes self-awareness, personal responsibility, and living fully in the present moment. Together, we'll look beyond the immediate problem to understand the whole picture of your health and well-being, identifying patterns, strengthening resilience, and developing practical strategies you can engage in everyday situations.

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative.
