I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida with experience helping adults navigate addiction, substance use concerns, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and the feeling of simply being stuck and not knowing what comes next.

My approach to counseling is warm, direct, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest — including about the things that may be difficult to say out loud. I don't believe in lecturing people or telling them how they should live their lives. Instead, I want to understand where you are, what matters to you, and what you would like your life to look like.

I have extensive experience working with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns, and Motivational Interviewing is an important part of my approach. Rather than assuming that I know what change should look like for you, we'll explore what you want, what may be getting in the way, and what steps feel realistic. I also draw from cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered, and other evidence-based approaches depending on your individual needs.

One of the most important things I want clients to know is that you don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply having a place where you can talk openly, sort through what is happening, and begin figuring out what comes next.
