About me
I am an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, abuse recovery, grief and loss.
I am a licensed therapist who has navigated through many challenges in life. This experience allows me to offer compassion, empathy and a unique perspective for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and challenging relationships. I firmly believe that everyone has the ability to develop a life path that works best for them. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you. We will explore your values, emotions, needs and desires. on the way to creating a direction and life skills that are in sync with your goals. I work collaboratively. We will explore what is and is not working in your current life in order to understand what changes may be in your best interest. When we work together, you can anticipate both tears and laughter. Our journey together may include pain you have forgotten or joy you have misplaced. In essence, if we choose to work together, we will embark on a journey to question why, and find the answers to what's next.
If you are concerned that you are in a toxic relationship, looking for a way to remove yourself from a hurtful relationship, or if you want to find a way to manage and minimize the impact of a relationship that compromises your well being, I am here to listen to your experience. I will help you to navigate toxic interactions, take inventory of yourself and what is, and is not in your control, and develop strategies that can help you to choose what is in your best interest.
Clinically, I work with different modalities. I tend to fit the modality to the client. I look for what works best for you with the awareness that it may mean a combination of several modalities. Predominantly I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and Client Centered Therapy.
If you are looking for help in navigating your current struggles and believe we could work well together, reach out to me and let’s begin a conversation to explore what you can do to help yourself thrive.
