About me
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who is passionate about helping students thrive in all aspects of their lives.
I work at a school-based clinic that serves kindergarten through 12th grade students, providing them with counseling services that cater to their unique needs and challenges. My approach to counseling is grounded in a combination of solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Gestalt therapy techniques. I believe that a student's mental health and wellbeing are critical components of their academic success and overall life satisfaction. As such, I aim to create a warm and safe environment where students can explore their thoughts and emotions, identify their strengths, and develop practical coping strategies to navigate life's challenges.
My counseling style is collaborative, empathetic, and strength-based, which means that I work closely with students to help them recognize and build upon their existing strengths and resources. I understand that each student's journey is unique, and I tailor my counseling approach to meet their specific needs.
Overall, my goal as an LPC is to help students build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their personal and academic goals. I am committed to providing a supportive and compassionate counseling experience that promotes growth, healing, and positive change.
