I have been working in human services for the past 30 years and 8 years of counseling in a variety of different settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have a Bachelors in Economics and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed by the state of North Carolina as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and as a Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I am also a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and I belong to the American Counseling Association, The National Board of Certified Counselors and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs within these evidenced based therapeutic models. These models have demonstrated efficacy in producing positive outcomes for persons that are predisposed to a myriad of disorders including:
