I am an client centered compassionate licensed professional counselor who is experienced in walking along side anyone of any age between 0 to 80, gender, religion, race, sexual orientation, or ethnicity, towards their chosen goal of change in any type of life struggle from grief to discovering self identity.

Welcome to Broken Vessels Counseling, PLLC. I am known by my clients and colleagues alike as "Mr. Rick". I am an honorably retired United States Navy veteran (2006). I am also a graduate of Liberty University (2016). I have experience working in corporate residential clinical mental health, where I treated children ages 5 to 18 in level 3 treatment (Covenant Peninsula Crisis Intervention Hospital, and Acadia Village Behavioral Health). I have also worked in corporate clinical mental health facilities working on a variety of mental health issues , from self harm ideation to relapse prevention programs (Journey Pure, and Covenant Peninsula crisis intervention Hospital ). I worked in corporate mental health between 2016 to 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. This is when Broken Vessels Counseling, PLLC. was born out of a new necessity of our society. and local communities. We are cash only service at an low economical scale. This emphasizes our practice focus of "clients over cost" or "patients over profit". We provide services in person (your home or our office); virtually online; or by phone. We offer services through various forms of counseling, individually; group; family; couples; or marriage based. Broken Vessels Counseling PLLC. provides clients a confidentially safe, nonjudgmental, affirming environment . An environment that is not only client centered, but also encourages and supports positive growth, self discovery, self autonomy, self advocation, and lasting change in each and every client that allows us the privilage of walking with them on their new journey. . In the end, our greatest reward at Broken Vessels Counseling, PLLC. is being blessed to witness individuals discover the treasure hidden among the shattered pieces of the past deep within all this time.
