About me
Analysis paralysis, task management , ADHD , Anxiety or over thinking concerns? I am Rhonda Voas, an LCSW providing therapy services ,online and in person for adults, teens and college students. ..Life is a struggle when you are overwhelmed, anxious, inattentive, can’t complete tasks or over thinking everything. These issues can affect self-esteem, relationships, and goals. I will help you develop skills to focus, challenge negative thoughts, calm your overthinking and relax. We will work towards overcoming challenges and finding calm in your life .
I am here to listen, connect and understand you. I am here to help you start and succeed in therapy and life. I am here to help you learn the skills to manage emotions, utilize your strengths, work within your skill set and thrive in life. It is normal to need a bit of help when we’re ready to grow, change or when life becomes overwhelming. Many people struggle with anxiety, stress, ADHD and sadness. I help you develop skills to focus, challenge your negative thoughts, get things done, calm your over thinking and relax. We will work towards overcoming your challenges and finding calm in your life.
I meet you where you are, find out what you want to achieve in therapy and how your life will change when you graduate away from therapy. We will develop this plan together early in our work together using information from your history and desires for your life. We will identify factors that are missing from your life and steps to achieving those desires.
I will support you in coping with life's struggles, in challenging negative self-talk and growing into a better understanding of yourself that allows you to honor your inner strengths and achievements. We will utilize my knowledge and understanding of attention, activity needs, executive function needs, stress and anxiety issues to better allow you to utilize your strengths and skills in your growth.
We will begin by finding where you are in using your strengths and what areas of need are causing you distress. We define what aspects of life you would like to alter and what life will look like when you have come through this difficult time into the next stage of your life. I meet you where you are, find out what you want to achieve in therapy and how your life will change when you graduate away from therapy. We will develop this plan together early in our work together using information from your history and desires for your life. We will identify factors that are missing from your life and steps to achieving those desires.
We will utilize aspects of CBT, DBT , EMDR and other forms of therapy. We will challenge your negative beliefs and work towards asserting your positive self . I will support you in coping with life transitions, reaching your potential and to confidently stepping into your next stage of life. We will work to identify unhelpful thought patterns and their healthy replacements in order to overcome difficulties. I offer a supportive and safe environment where you can process your thoughts. history, needs, feelings, and challenge your negative beliefs while learn to improve your coping skills. We will look for identifying factors that will begin to change in your life that signal growth and achievement of therapy goals.
When you are ready we will work to apply skills to support your graduation away from therapy and sustained ability to maintain your growth. We will work to identify factors that identify when and if you want to return to therapy to maintain growth and continue to thrive in the future.
