About me

I am a faith-based practitioner who is respectful of a client’s spiritual belief; as spirituality is important in the healing process. I provide an eclectic trauma-informed approach that ranges from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to Person-Centered Therapy.

Welcome to Rejoice. Empower, Strive, and Trust, In the lord (R.E.S.T), we are looking forward to using God’s word to help you find comfort, while you work to find resolutions for your life.

I am an ordained minister and independently licensed professional counselor. I have a strong passion for advocacy work and community organizing, in which I have a special interest in working with minorities and the LGBTQIA+ community to overcome the emotional trauma of inequality.

I also, provide individual, couples counseling online services only.

I am a three time trauma-informed survivor who developed the Rejoice, Empower, Strive and Trust in God (R.E.S.T) free community-based support group. The community group R.E.S.T is designed to address trauma, conflict and stressors in rural underserved communities. Community Group is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
