About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Professional, licensed in Florida with 3 years of professional work experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Elizabeth City State University and a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, parenting issues, depression, coping with life changes, concentration, memory, and focus. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping you gain tools and clarity to feel more balanced. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I focus on building coping skills, improving communication, and creating healthier routines, while tailoring our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. More specifically, as a Black therapist, I am passionate about creating a supportive space for other Black individuals who may be carrying the weight of unique cultural, family, and societal pressures, and because of that, my approach is affirming and rooted in understanding the importance of culture in healing. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
