Renee Duricy, LCSW
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
"Connection - The energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship." -Brene Brown
I believe in the power of connection in the healing process – connection with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. I create a safe space in which to explore those connections and what is getting in the way of healthy and meaningful relationships with yourself and others. My primary specialty is working with trauma and I have also worked with depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, life transitions, and relationship issues. I believe that the answers are within each person and my role is to help you hear your inner voice, trust it, and have the courage to follow it. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy along with skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in a variety of settings since 2000. I primarily work with adults and late adolescents.
