For more than 40 years, Dr. Campbell has practiced in the areas of education and social work. Dr. Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Individual and Family Therapies. She is a Certified Dialectical Behavior Practitioner, Intimate Partner Violence subject matter expert, Psycho-education group therapy creator and facilitator, Personal and employment coach, Speaker, Board Development facilitator, and Reiki practitioner.
Dr. Campbell is a member of Phi Delta Kappa International Honor Society and Phi Alpha International Honor Society, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is the recipient of the following awards: Center for Women and Families, Women of Distinction; Muhammad Ali Daughters or Greatness; Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Lifetime Achievement; Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work and Family Science Fellow, and the Louisville Defender Business and Professional Achievement Award,” Dr. Campbell has spent her entire career in nonprofits, teaching aspiring undergraduate and graduate social work students, and creating and implementing programs to support those who are marginalized.
One of her most rewarding moments was when in 2005 she was appointed a sub-chief by the Tolon Traditional Council, in the village of Tolon-Ghana, West Africa, where she created and facilitated life changing programs.
