About me

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, with a focus on trauma-informed care. I bring a comprehensive skill set to my practice, including expertise in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), trauma center-focused therapy, & Certified Autism Professional. My work extends to treating conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and various emotional challenges, with a strong foundation in Play Therapy, Art Therapy, & ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques. I have significant experience conducting cognitive/behavioral assessments, including ADOS-2, WSIC-V, BRIEFS, SRS-2, Vineland-3, and Sensory Profiles, which support tailored treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. While I prefer working with children ages 5-10, my experience spans across the lifespan, helping individuals of all ages achieve their emotional & developmental goals. There are 2 locations-Ocala and Inverness, check out the website for your nearest location.

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and heart. By meeting clients where they are, I create a safe, collaborative space to explore and address their needs. I utilize various therapeutic modalities to support clients in reaching their short- and long-term goals, all while fostering a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect. Outside of my work with clients, I find joy in spending time tending to my garden, which includes roses, flowers, vegetables, and a variety of other plants. I’m also passionate about my animals, including my three Nigerian dwarf goats—Maggie, Zack, and Cody—as well as my 20 chickens. At home, I’m often accompanied by my loyal companions: Chief, an English bulldog; Sebastian, a Yorkie; and Oliver, a Flamepoint Siamese.
