About me

You’re exhausted, and even that feels like an understatement. I can support with anxiety, depression, and veterans in Gastonia, NC, or virtually! Offering Evenings and Accepting New Clients!

The alarm has gone off for the seventh time, and you’re trying to convince yourself not to hit snooze again. You shuffle through the mess in your room, searching for clothes in the ever-growing pile of laundry you’ve been meaning to tackle. A real shower isn’t even on the radar—body spray will have to do. You sit in your car outside of work, stalling until the last possible second, because stepping into “perform mode” takes every ounce of energy you’ve got.

Inside, no one knows the dread you carry. No one sees the way your heart races for no reason or how you check your smartwatch, hoping your pulse will confirm you’re still okay. You avoid small talk, speak only when you have to, and count the minutes until you can go home—only to feel more drained when you get there.

Takeout again. You tell yourself it’s a treat, a reward for surviving the day. The truth is, cooking just feels impossible. The clutter in your home feels like a mirror to your mind—too much to handle, so you wipe the counters and call it good enough.

Later, as you lie in bed, phone in hand, you doom scroll to escape the ache of tomorrow. Maybe you cry. Maybe you try to laugh it off with a show. Either way, the loneliness is loud. You wonder if it’ll ever feel easier to just be.

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to pretend.

I get it—because I’ve been on the other side. I know how hard it is to be honest about what you’re going through, especially when even you are still trying to make sense of it. That’s why, when you show up in session with me, we don’t rush the process. We meet you where you are, with all the mess and all the questions.

I’ve spent years walking alongside clients who felt just like you—overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, and unsure of how to feel better. My role isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to be with you as you start discovering your worth again—not just through affirmations or bubble baths, but by doing the deeper work of learning how to choose yourself, even when it’s hard.

We’ll explore the patterns that aren’t serving you, the beliefs that keep you stuck, and the ways you’ve learned to survive. I’ll hold space for your grief, your anger, your questions—and yes, even your laughter. Nothing you bring to session is “too much.” I’m here for all of it.

And if your faith is a source of strength for you, we can hold that in the room, too. I honor spiritual spaces without imposing them. This is your space, and my job is to make sure it fits you.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

If the racing thoughts, low moods, and day-to-day overwhelm are wearing you down, therapy might be your next brave step. In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on, clarify what you want from the process, and create a plan together—one that’s manageable, collaborative, and deeply personal.

You’ll leave that first session with more than just a conversation—you’ll have insight, tools, and a plan for moving forward. One step at a time.

Let’s do this — your future self is already thanking you.
