About me
I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor for over 10 years now. I specialize in depression and anxiety. My therapeutic style is Person-Centered.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I most enjoy the relationships that are developed between my clients and me. I have always loved helping people. My own therapy journey inspired and motivated me to start my career in mental health. I worked at an outpatient facility for dual diagnoses, both drug and alcohol and mental health. Afterward, I worked on a methadone unit in a Philadelphia residential facility. I have also worked for a non-profit agency in outpatient therapy. I currently see couples, families, and individuals, from 14 years old and up.
My main therapeutic style is that of Person-Centered Therapy, where the therapist and client process what is going on in their life. “Talk therapy” is what I gravitate toward in my counseling practice. I also enjoy using Cognitive Behavior Therapy and specialize in Dialectical Behavior therapy. Although our sessions will be through Telehealth, I have found that I have developed even deeper connections with my clients through this online modality. My main focus is to help clients reach their own goals. I enjoy building rapport and helping accomplish whatever goals are set for each individual.
