About me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and also have a background in marriage and family therapy.
I believe in the importance of a good relational fit for your therapy to be meaningful and make a difference in your life. My therapy approach is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where we can partner together to set and reach your goals using both client-centered and strengths-based approaches. I feel that clients are the experts of their lives and determine the direction and depth of their time in therapy. This means I begin where you are at and strive to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
My areas of speciality include: trauma informed care, survivors of suicide, trauma/abuse, depression, grief & loss, anxiety, postpartum, relationship issues, work stress and imposter syndrome, burnout, and first responder and healthcare specialities.
I have also worked over 7 years in a Level I Trauma Center in Northern California supporting healthcare employees, residents, and medical students with the diverse challenges and traumas they face while providing patient care. First responder and healthcare stress and burnout has become a pervasive issue and has become a clinical passion of mine.
