About me

My ideal client is someone who needs a space to talk openly and honestly about grief, trauma, disability, chronic illness, reproductive issues, and other hard topics. They are looking for a therapist who will not flinch in the face of their past or their feelings. Let me provide you with a space to talk about the things you can't discuss with other people. You don't have to put on a brave face with me. Let's talk about these things together, bring them into the light, so that we can work together on healing and earnestly moving forward. If you want to get to know me and my style better, I am happy to schedule a 15 minute consultation. Call, email, or contact me through my website.

My focus is on helping people learn how to identify, talk, and feel through their feelings while also giving them practical tools through mindfulness and somatic techniques. With a background in trauma and disability, I focus on what matters and not try to rehash your whole life if it's not relevant to your concern. I keep things casual in my sessions, and meet people where they are. I also like to use humor and keep some lightness to my appointments because let's be honest, therapy can be a real bummer sometimes.

I have 5 years combined experience counseling in Utah and Oregon. I have post graduate degree training in Trauma Counseling through University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I offer counseling in Russian and English.
