About me
I am a relational therapist who helps teens and adults who are neurodivergent, navigating chronic illness, processing past trauma, moving through life transitions, or struggling in their relationships become empowered to be fully seen and live life in a grounded, authentic way.
You may be a deep feeler, often feeling misunderstood or finding yourself taking on more responsibility than is yours to carry. You are thoughtful and self-aware, but you doubt yourself and feel like your emotions are “too much”. You’re motivated to change, but over time, it’s gotten harder to know what you actually need or who you really are. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, navigating chronic illness, processing past trauma, moving through life transitions, or struggling in their relationships. They often feel like they have to justify their experience or hold everything together on their own; you don’t have to do keep doing that here.
Our work will help you feel genuinely seen and understood, while we gently explore the patterns, lived experiences, and nervous system responses that have shaped the way you move through the world.
In my sessions, I show up authentically and as a real person, not the blank-slate, straight-faced therapist you might picture. I value genuine connection and believe therapy can include moments of humor, honesty, and even a little sarcasm when it fits. I want to hear what’s really going on in your world, the hard parts, the everyday moments, and yes, even the “tea” (and I’ll never say no to seeing pictures of your pet). Therapy with me is a place where you can discuss hard topics without fear of judgment or shame, and there’s no such thing as “too much information”.
My approach is trauma-informed, experiential, and mind-body based. I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, including more than 5 years as a therapist. I’m trained in EMDR and integrate parts work (IFS), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and somatic approaches into my work.
In addition to my professional experience, I live with type 1 diabetes, which gives me a personal understanding of the complexities of managing a chronic condition both physically and emotionally and helps me connect with many of the challenges my clients experience. Outside of the therapy room, you might find me hiking or exploring new places, enjoying a good latte with a book, or spending time with my partner and our two silly pups.
Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and paced in a way that feels safe and supportive. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, struggling in your relationships, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself, I’m here to support you.
