About me
I am an experienced board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan in Iowa, with a focus on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and integrated treatment for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and co-occurring conditions.
My approach centers on truly listening to your story, understanding the full picture of what you’re going through, and partnering with you to create a personalized path forward. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety that keeps you up at night, depression that makes even small tasks feel overwhelming, mood swings that disrupt your relationships, ADHD that affects your focus and confidence, trauma that still echoes in your daily life, or any combination of these, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care that integrates thorough psychiatric evaluation, thoughtful medication management when needed, and practical support for lasting change.
In my practice, I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults across Iowa—both in-person and via secure telehealth. I believe mental health care should feel approachable, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Many people come to me feeling stuck, exhausted, or hopeless after trying to manage symptoms on their own or navigating fragmented care. My goal is to help you regain clarity, stability, and a sense of control so you can move toward the life you want—with fewer side effects, better symptom relief, and strategies that fit your unique circumstances, values, and goals.
I stay current with the latest advances in psychopharmacology and integrative mental health while always grounding decisions in what matters most to you. Sessions are focused on building trust, reducing suffering, and empowering you with tools and knowledge to thrive long-term. If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling better, I invite you to reach out. Taking that first step can be the beginning of real relief and renewed hope.
