About me
Welcome to Betterhelp.
You have made an important decision to seek support for yourself.
I can be available to support you through a time of discovery of your strengths and how to apply them to success.
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW by the state of North Carolina.
My graduate studies include a Master of Divinity, MDIV, and a Master of Science In Social Work, MSSW.
I am a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, ACSW.
I have experience working with Children, Adolescents and Families in a variety of settings as well as persons challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, and substance use.
I have been involved in clinical family work for 30 years.
All persons deserve to feel respect and dignity.
I feel that individuals have a basic right to seek joy and serenity.
I encourage participants share their unique and personal narrative .
Personal success is based on developing life goals and taking responsibility and credit for accomplishments.
I see my role as listening and supporting individuals in developing and pursuing their personal dreams.
Life’s challenges are best overcome by discovering and enlisting ones personal strengths .
I encourage a wholistic approach, attending to emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual issues.
I hope you follow through with your decision to seek support and would be glad to be a part of your experience.
