About me
Controlled substances like Stimulants, Suboxone and Benzodiazepines are prescribed in this practice with DEA guidelines. I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experienced in treating a broad range of issues that includes Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and PTSD, among a diverse population across the lifespan.
Based in Washington State, I am also licensed to treat patients living in CO, ID, DC, NH, VT, WY and NJ. I am accepting new patients who are interested in a wholistic approach to psychiatric treatment and medication management.
While my expertise lies in medication management and treatment of anxiety, depression, and addiction, I am very comfortable working through a broad range of psychological issues. As a former member of the Marine Corps, I welcome the opportunity to treat fellow veterans- and equally enjoy my work with adults of all backgrounds.
I subscribe to a wholistic philosophy and, when beginning a new treatment plan, I take a “start low and go slow” approach to medication. I pay special attention to medication potency and potential interactions with other medications. I believe that “knowledge is power,” and work in partnership with patients so they feel informed, involved and fully comfortable with the treatment plan. I am also available to manage medication in conjunction with patients’ other providers.
