About me
Working as a social worker has allowed me to devote my time and skills to helping people live their best lives in whatever way that looks like for them. Our best life could be waking up in the morning, finding our passions, pursuing goals, or building/maintaining healthy relationships.
I believe we are able to get further in life when we have someone to walk the journey with us. Unfortunately, there is no instant relief when it comes to facing obstacles in life, but I’ve seen first hand how powerful it can be to have a safe and supportive space to work through emotions (both the positive ones and the uncomfortable ones).
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
I enjoy working with children, ages 8 and up, as well as teenagers and adults. I have experience with depression, anxiety, domestic violence, grief, postpartum depression, and terminal illnesses. I believe in the power of empathy, compassion, and vulnerability, and integrating those with aspects of my training and experience.
