About me

I am a licensed psychologist, Veteran, and former elementary school teacher who has dedicated my career to helping people heal from adversity, stress, and trauma.

As a teacher and a soldier, I saw pain all around me and felt helpless to alleviate it. At the same time, I was humbled by the strength of people who were struggling but chose life every day. These experiences ignited my purpose — to help others work through their pain and get back to the people they always wanted to be, for their family, for their friends, for their communities, and for themselves.

With a deep commitment to my clients' well-being, I have developed expertise in trauma theory and the application of treatments for PTSD backed by research for both teens and adults. My evidence-based approach ensures that you not only heal faster but also achieve long-term wellness. By tracking progress and providing tailored treatment plans, I empower clients to reclaim their lives.

In recognition that both struggle and strength are deeply connected to identity, culture, family, and society, we will work to understand how the intersection of these factors are contributing to your (un)wellness.

Now offering trauma healing intensives -- a dedicated period of time, typically 3 - 5 days where we meet for 3 hours of therapy each day. Based on a growing demand for condensed and focused therapy, the intensive therapy approach came from the idea that concentrated periods of well-paced, skillful, and research backed therapy over a brief period of time is an efficient and effective way to achieve results. People with demanding work and personal lives find this approach especially appealing as compared to traditional, weekly therapy over the course of 12 - 16 weeks.
