About me
I am a licensed mental health clinician based in Southern Colorado with over seven years of professional experience. I support clients navigating stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, career challenges, grief, and identity exploration. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT skills, and solution-focused strategies. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can share your thoughts and feelings openly and explore what matters most to you.
I currently offer live messaging appointments paired with asynchronous messaging support. This format can help reduce common barriers to treatment by increasing flexibility, allowing clients to engage in therapy in real time while also having space to reflect and respond at their own pace between sessions. It can support continuity of care during busy schedules, reduce missed appointments due to time constraints, and make it easier to access support during moments when scheduled sessions may not be feasible. It also allows clients time to process thoughts more fully, which can be especially helpful for those who benefit from reflection before responding.
For individuals who experience anxiety about traditional talk therapy, live messaging sessions can feel less intimidating and more structured. Many clients find it easier to express themselves in writing rather than speaking in real time, which can reduce performance pressure, help slow down overwhelming emotions, and allow for more thoughtful communication. The written format can also provide a sense of emotional safety and distance that makes it easier to begin discussing difficult topics, especially early in the therapeutic process.
I believe that every person’s story is unique, and I work with clients to build self-awareness, resilience, and practical tools for managing life’s challenges. Therapy is a journey, and I am here to support and empower you every step of the way.
My sessions are available in the evenings on weekdays and weekends to help make therapy more accessible for busy lifestyles.
