About me
I have years of experience helping adults cope with anxiety, depression, PTSD/CPTSD, substance abuse, and many other areas of concern.
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan. I have over 12 years experience working with a widely diverse population of adults seeking help with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, sexual identity, gender identity, and life transitions. I am LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM, polyamory/ENM/non-monogamous relationship friendly. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University.
I use client-centered, strength based, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, and solution focused approaches. I incorporate creativity, empathy, flexibility, and a safe, judgment free environment. I provide tools for growth, emotional support, feedback, and guidance to help each unique individual develop a richer, more joyful and meaningful life, and achieve set goals.
