About me
I am a license clinical social worker who is laid back and nonjudgemental. I am dedicated to helping individuals with mental health struggles and everyday stress.
I started my journey at Misericordia University and received my Bachelors in Psychology with a mental health intervention specialization. I completed the degree and internship with Public defenders office doing mental health assessments with inmates and those in legal trouble. I completed my master of Social Work degree at University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I currently have my license in Clinical Social Work and a clinical addiction specialist. I worked with Foster parents, adoptive parents, and birth mothers through the process of adoption and the emotions that come with it. I also have extensive experience with trauma, personality disorders, and women's issues. My approach to therapy includes a strengths based approach. I take a reflective and validating approach and meet the individual needs of clients. I am laid back and generally more conversational but will meet my clients where they are at and with what their needs are. I enjoy working with wide varieties of people and will meet each client where they need!
