About me
As a licensed therapist in Colorado, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. I began my clinical work in outpatient settings, supporting individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness in Washington and later in Colorado. I went on to serve in crisis settings, where I provided in-the-moment support to individuals in jails, hospitals, homes, and community spaces—working with clients experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts, self-harm, and acute psychiatric distress.
I work with a wide range of clients, from 19 years of age to older adults, and have experience with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals and those navigating complex or chronic mental health conditions.
I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, process past experiences, and cultivate meaningful change. Through an eclectic, person-centered approach grounded in evidence-based practices—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), systems theory, and psychosocial developmental models—I help clients build new neural pathways, challenge unhelpful thought and behavior patterns moving toward greater emotional well-being.
