About me
Hi, I’m Rachel, an affirming, HAES-aligned therapist helping teens and adults with anxiety, eating disorders, BFRBs, and depression.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Uncaged Counseling and Wellness, which I created to feel safe, steady, and real. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or distant- it can feel like a place where you can finally exhale. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break, or carrying more than you let on, you don’t have to keep doing that alone. I work from a client-centered, trauma-informed lens and believe healing happens when you feel understood, not judged.
I’m certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I work with borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, BFRBs, and trauma. I provide a supportive, affirming space for LGBTQIA2S+ clients and help everyone build skills to manage strong emotions with confidence.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. You deserve support. I’m here to offer understanding, collaboration, and care as you take your next step forward.
