About me
Ready to empower your story? Stories are sacred. I'm humbled that I might join you in your healing journey. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University. I am also a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT) and Autism specialist who takes a neuro-affirming approach. I incorporate trauma-informed play therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, and attachment-focused family systems therapy. I assist individuals and families who are seeking healthier coping strategies, and a safe space to improve daily life. I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, and helping families navigate life changes thoughtfully. My specialties include: ADHD, OCD, Autism, trauma, spirituality, and identity integration.
I see client's virtually ages 12+ as individuals or for family/couples therapy. I believe that matching the client's way of healing and learning is best. Some of my clients enjoy insight and processing, others desire structured goals and skills, and others benefit from a blend of approaches. I have a special place in my heart for neurodivergent clients, blended families, and exploring identity with consideration to spirituality/faith for clients for whom that is important.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family and trying new foods. I can be found playing a good board game, D&D, chatting it up, listening to podcasts, reading sci-fi/fantasy, studying theology, or working on my focus in a good game of pickleball.
