About me
When working together, you can expect a collaborative and down-to-earth approach. I value clear communication and believe treatment works best when we make decisions together. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, informed, and confident as we navigate your care as a team.
I’m Rachel Khan, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, much of that time spent in the Emergency Department caring for people facing both medical and mental health challenges. My background has shaped a calm, grounded approach to care. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Building trust and open communication is important to me, and I believe your experiences and story truly matter.
Our work typically begins with listening closely to your concerns and completing a thoughtful, thorough assessment. From there, I’ll explain treatment options clearly and create a personalized plan that fits your needs and goals. Whether we’re addressing immediate concerns or long-term wellness, my focus is helping you feel empowered every step of the way.
