About me
Hello, I am Rachel! I am a licensed professional counselor-in-training. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I support clients facing eating/body-image concerns, gender and sexuality identity questions, self-esteem and self-image challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, life transitions, and safety concerns, including self-harm or suicidal ideation.
I take a client-centered and integrative approach to therapy. I combine evidence-based methods with culturally responsive care to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen and heard. Together we will set goals and build a plan tailored to your mental, emotional, or physical well-being. Taking the first step can feel daunting but you don't have to do it alone. I hope to create a therapeutic space where each person can feel comfortable enough to be themselves and become a better version of themselves. Please reach out via email or phone to get started. I look forward to working alongside you on your journey to the best version of you.
