About me
Hello, my name is Rachel, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, families, Seniors, and Military Personnel with a wide range of concerns. I have successfully treated clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress management, life transitions, grief and loss, parenting problems, PTSD, and career challenges. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is client centered. I think that therapy should be interactive to facilitate connection with the clients inner strengths. My counseling is also resource based, so we identify accessible opportunities which would increase ego strength. Everyone should have an opportunity to experience the relief that comes from inner peace.
My approach in therapy is a combination of Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused, and life Life Coaching.
Seeking counseling can be a big step for some people. I am hear to walk with them on the journey and to guide them on the bath to a less stressful life.
