About me
I am experienced therapist who works with young adults, and adults. Let’s work together to cultivate resilience and meaningful change!
Are you navigating a difficult life transition, feeling overwhelmed, or looking to heal from past trauma? I provide a safe, trauma-informed, and compassionate space to help you explore your challenges and uncover your inner strengths. My clinical background spans school-based therapy and intensive community mental health, working closely with clients to foster deeper self-acceptance and enhanced relational competence.
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington DC, I believe true healing begins inside a safe, collaborative relationship. My approach is deeply relational, experiential, and person-centered. My toolkit draws from a range of evidence-based practices: I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to examine patterns in thought and feeling, somatic and experiential methods to reach healing that lives below conscious awareness, and a relational-cultural lens that honors how culture, identity, and systemic forces shape your inner life. Each approach is chosen for you, not applied to you. My goal is to co-create a trauma-informed space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and empowered to move forward. I offer sessions in English and Hindi.
