About me
I’m warm a compassionate am an Integrative Counsellor with over 4 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I have a longstanding commitment to helping people navigate challenges such as trauma, bereavement, stress, anxiety, family and relationship difficulties, menopause-related concerns, and experiences connected to neurodiversity.
My work is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic models and evidence-based interventions. This allows therapy to be carefully adapted to the specific needs, preferences, and circumstances of each client. I am mindful that the effects of trauma can be enduring and may impact many areas of a persons life, which is why I take a holistic and sensitive approach to therapeutic work.
I have extensive professional and personal experience working with neurodiverse individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and other neurological differences. I recognise that each person’s experience of neurodiversity is unique, and I aim to offer therapy that is individualised, respectful, and strengths-based.
I understand that speaking about deeply personal or painful experiences can feel unsettling. I therefore strive to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. My approach is non-directive, allowing us to work collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Therapy provides an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and emotional responses, supporting reflection, understanding, and self-acceptance. Through this process, clients often develop greater insight into their experiences, increased emotional awareness, and a sense of personal growth and resilience.
Since this is your life and nobody else's, you should be able to live it without worrying about meeting other peoples expectations and knowing that you are enough.
