About me
Insight-Focused Therapy for Lasting Change
Reaching out takes courage, especially when you feel torn between a desire for growth and the vulnerability that therapy requires. I understand that taking this first step can feel conflicting. I am here to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore these tensions as you move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
As a Psychodynamic practitioner, I offer a unique space to delve into the underlying, often unconscious elements that shape your emotions, thoughts, and relationships. Together, we will explore how your past meaningfully connects to your present.
This is more than just "venting"; it is a collaborative process of discovery. We will look at the patterns that may be holding you back, providing a thoughtful space where even the most difficult or painful aspects of your experience can be meaningfully explored and processed to foster genuine emotional growth.
With over 15 years of experience across the mental health sector—including private clinics, universities, schools, and charities—I have worked with individuals from all walks of life. This diverse background allows me to offer an adaptable and deeply informed approach tailored to your unique needs, whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term depth work.
I have extensive experience supporting clients through:
Attachment Issues: Exploring how early experiences shape your current ways of connecting.
Relational Issues: Navigating the complexities of partnerships, family dynamics, and social interactions.
Identity & Self-Esteem: Strengthening your sense of self and understanding the "parts" of who you are.
Grief and Loss: Processing the painful and often "endless" nature of bereavement and life transitions.
I am a registered member of the BACP and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). My clinical practice is built on a strong academic foundation, including an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling and an MA in Clinical Psychology. This training allows me to combine a deep theoretical understanding and an evidence-based approach with genuine compassion and relational warmth.
