About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care that supports healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being. BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Affirming.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you do not have to figure it out alone.
My name is Polly Cox, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
I believe that healing does not have to happen in a cold, clinical environment. Therapy can be a place for deep conversations, personal growth, and sometimes even laughter. While I take my clients and their struggles seriously, I also believe that humor can be a powerful tool for coping, connection, and healing.
My approach is strengths based, collaborative, and client centered. I strive to create a warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self esteem issues, and burnout. I am also passionate about providing culturally responsive care and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.
As someone who understands that life can be messy, complicated, and occasionally absurd, I aim to help clients find balance, resilience, and hope, even during difficult times. Whether you are looking to heal, grow, gain insight, or simply have a space where you can be yourself, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
