About me
I help adults and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and life transitions while feeling understood, valued, and supported.
Hi, my name is Phuong Dinh. I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC). My journey toward becoming a therapist grew from a desire to support people through life’s challenges and help them feel understood, valued, and accepted for who they are.
I believe life can sometimes feel like a series of tangled knots, leaving us unsure of where to begin or how to move forward. My hope is to walk alongside you as we gradually untangle them, one at a time, in a space where you can express yourself openly without fear of judgment.
I work with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, academic stress, and life transitions. You may be considering therapy because you feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or others, or uncertain about your next steps. Perhaps you have been trying to meet everyone else’s expectations while struggling to recognize what you need. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where your experiences are heard and your concerns are taken seriously.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on understanding you as a whole person. Together, we can explore how your experiences, relationships, and patterns influence the way you think, feel, and respond to challenges. We can work toward greater self-understanding, practical coping skills, clearer boundaries, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Our work will reflect your needs, goals, and readiness for change.
In our first session, we will begin getting to know one another, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from our work together. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We can begin wherever you are.
My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself and more confident in navigating your life. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult season or hoping to understand yourself more deeply, I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you.
