Adapting to stressful experiences can affect the body, emotions and thought patterns in adverse ways. These can manifest as depression, anxiety, insomnia, addiction, etc. I believe therapy can help you reduce pain and suffering and create meaningful change. My style is non-judgmental curious, and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and through a strengths-based approach, I can help you increase your self-understanding to solve problems and unblock your innate wisdom. I operate from a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive and social justice lens. I incorporate elements from DBT, somatic and mindfulness based practice.
